How have you all been? I title today's topic as "Our LORD Jesus Christ Received the Sins of the World from JOHN the BAPTIST." 

In life it is a matter of believing in something. The Roman Catholic Church has accustomed this Scripture passage taken from the Gospel of John chapter 20, verse 23 to the forgiveness of sins by a priest in their teachings to the congregation. This usually takes place between the person seeking forgiveness and the priest separated by an intersection during the offering of the penance of confession. In one of the neighborhood cathedrals that I used to attend Mass the intersection was a movable wooden built fabric with the height well raised above of a seated priest inside and breadthwise opened wide to allow the confessor sit or kneel so as to remain anonymous as they will both communicate only by hearing each other during the confession of sins. Mind-boggling here is since they believe the Pope has the authority and power to remit the sins not concealed of a confessor if such and such a priest were to forgive your sins and then this priest's sins by another priest, and so forth and in turns, who then would, according to the Roman Catholics, forgive the sins of the pope? I do not raise this point in order to act as a critic toward a religion. But to believe in all that is to be spiritually undiscerning and flawed for it is neither man nor any man-made methods responsible but away and contrary to a blind faith is only by believing in the gospel of water and the Spirit for the remission of sins. 

I reiterate that it is by believing in the birth of Jesus through the body of Mary, His mother, Jesus bearing all our sins at His baptism by John the Baptist when He turned thirty, His dying and vicariously shedding of all His blood on the Cross for the condemnation of our sins three years later and the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead three days after which makes you and I now complete in His righteousness and no longer a sinner anymore. Onward from the first Pentecost, which was on the fiftieth day after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit came down on earth and was given publicly to the disciples that is to all those who believe that Jesus Christ witnessed for forty days upon rising from the dead after His crucifixion on the Cross prior to His baptism by John the Baptist in the Jordan River. These believers now manifest the presence of the Holy Spirit in their hearts once and for all. Only the born again of the gospel of the water and the Spirit do have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Can you understand this? On the other hand, there will be judgment and fiery condemnation onto all those who do not throw away all their stubbornness of unbelief under the feet of Jesus by meeting Him with this gospel of the water and the Spirit. And for sure, at the end, they will be cast into the never-ending fires of hell.  

Needless to say, but out of the box here is if we don't serve as slaves of His love and righteousness then we can only serve our flesh and this lost generation of this depraved world for sure. Let's give all our thanks to the Holy God. Even so, heading on this narrow and difficult way into the Kingdom of Christ the God along with The New Life Mission. Gosh! It is all-encompassing. It's God's Church presenting us with the best life worthwhile of serving His Majesty and the Church, online and in the field, disseminating the Word of God through the free Christian literature ministry of the New Life Mission from where you and I are nourished with the bread of life invariably and strengthened as we walk in the Spirit within the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Alas, it wasn't the case of a certain Nigerian church founder from Yoruba descent until after his passing away. At least some of us who have been forcefully coerced and dragged to become one of his minions against our own will can now rest.

Mondays especially in some parts of my country, apart from some other days of choice depending on reason, are a ghost town with restricted public movements. By referring to Cameroon as Africa in miniature similar in scope was this Lake Nyos disaster in the late 1980s with its toll on us. Scientists had held a meeting at Nancy, France, to detect the causes of the Lake Nyos disaster in Cameroon, a tropical Central African nation. Some scientists concluded that it was due to the massive flow of carbon dioxide that Lake Nyos contained and was still dangerous. Scientists are still intending to release at least some gas in their million cubic meters a year spanning two decades from 1988 which increases the danger. The scientists finally concluded that another gas disaster could occur at any time. Reports and a set of recommendations on Lake Nyos disaster were sent to Cameroon and western sub-Saharan Africa including Nigeria. The most pertinent of these recommendations was that the amount of gas present in Lake Nyos should be reduced as a matter of urgency. But scientists failed to recommend on the fact on how the gas should be removed. Later, it was suggested that the extraction of the gas should first be tried on Lake Monoun. Just as in this gas disaster, in order to avert such an ordeal in our lives of faith, your faith as well as mine should permit us to preach the Lord's gospel precisely directly or indirectly to someone at least with our lips thereby moistening the hearts of the spirits in jail (1 Peter 3:19) to set them free by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus from the bondage of the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). In addition, as a result, steering the tide of the gift of spiritual impartation.

With hair-raising recurrent activities whether natural or artificial we see from the Lord-spoken Word how true the calamities are nearing us and so we must be wide-awake spiritually and watchful for the times of the end as well as set out our course in live worthwhile in serving the beautiful gospel of the water and the Spirit.
