God Shines the Light of Life on This Chaotic world

It's written, “Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good” (Genesis 1:3-4). Although this passage explains the formation of the universe and its result, it also implies that Jesus Christ would come to this earth to save you and me from the sins of the world. In the beginning, Jesus Christ shone the light of blessings on this earth that was prevailed only by darkness. Light came into being at His single utterance alone, commanding to let there be light in the chaotic world.

The formless and void earth here refers to the very planet Earth on which you and I are living. Spiritually speaking, it also refers to your heart and mine. It means that from the moment we were born in this world, our hearts were without form, void, and profoundly dark. This darkness refers to the heart of everyone who is born as a sinful descendant of Adam
In other words, we were all born as sinners. Although our Lord created this beautiful universe, the human heart became confused and empty because of Satan.

However, Jesus Christ is the very One who came to this earth as a Man to save you and me from the sins of the world: He accepted our sins on His body by being baptized by John the Baptist, bore the condemnation of our sins in our place, rose from the dead again, and has thereby illuminated our hearts with the true light of salvation.
Through the gospel of the water and the Spirit, Jesus Christ has made us His believers God’s people.
