Meet Jesus with My Gospel of His Baptism and the Blood

Sometime ago, more than 10 years ago, I, too, belonged to the world. I was head over heels with all the affairs which this world could give me. I indulged myself with the filth and spills of a hopeless life. But thanks be unto the Almighty God. Ah! Him alone—through meeting Jesus with His gospel Word of the water and the Spirit—my soul became refreshed and life out of a blue became worth living serving His majesty and preaching the gospel of the water and the Spirit and spreading the good news in accordance with this Great Commission to every nook and cranny of the world. Whether or not my flesh is perishing in this world, but so long as the inward man gets renewed I praise, thank, worship and revere but, for the only way out, Jesus' shouldering of the sins of the world through His baptism by John the Baptist as well as His bloodshed on the Cross in our stead. As it is written, "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). This good news, which is "euaggelion" in Greek, is the fulfillment of the promised Word prophesied in the Scriptures. I give my real thanks to God who has enabled and made me to live an upright and virtuous life. Glory be to the Highest.

In spite of our small work to believe, have faith and trust only in God Almighty, we at times find it lonely. But what is there to feel lonely about when there are just too many righteous people of God out there with whom we can work together? For the righteous abhors to be with sinners. God's Church is the place I like to work and it is with the people of God I like to live. Like in the parable of the dragnet cast into the sea (Matthew 13:47-50) all types of fish, both good and bad ones, are caught. Put differently, the Church has both the righteous people of God and the evil ones. But in the end the latter are burned in the furnace of fire while the former are to live enjoying the splendor and glory to come in the eternal world of the Kingdom of God. We the righteous do not find it lonely without working together with the sinners for there are so many righteous people with whom we can work together. The people I like to live with are with the righteous people of God. And the place I like to work is God's Church. Those born again of the beautiful gospel of the water and the Spirit hate it to be with the sinners, in reality, they come across with each other due to their newly found faith in Jesus' water baptism and bloodshed. Even so, may the Lord God catch us those foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes (Song of Solomon 2:15). The true joy is only in Christ. The true work is also only in the Lord. That is where all satisfaction is. "So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:6). I acknowledge our Lord in and out of turbulent times, in and out of seasons and hard times. My heart's earnest desire and hope for you is to believe and become born again of the gospel of the water and the Spirit—the power of God's righteousness unto salvation that washes away all our sins. That is where the true faith begins and grows.

Remember this, "My flesh is like a garbage can." But whether this is to lead us to becoming vulgar, tempting and oblivious liars, into filthiness and the corruption in this desolate world, we thank God through Jesus Christ for overcoming such, for therein lies the gospel of the water and the Spirit is the Lord's righteousness and His love. When the Bible talks often about love it means "the love of the truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:10). No matter how vulgar and degraded we are in this world with God's righteousness God has called those whom He already knew, justified those whom He called and glorified those whom He justified once and for all. Thanks be to God for having someone like you to listen to the words of God's gospel for bestowed Grace and Mercy. With mankind we get too many unanswered questions, however through meeting the gospel God talks about of the water and the Spirit it is like having a piece of jumbled up puzzle being matched and resolved. Our every endeavors and our sole reason for our existence now becomes geared toward sharing the gospel Word to every soul and for the Lord to be the only One alone who is to receive the glory.

I am so weak bearing iniquities even with my eyes closed and dreaming. Before I even cross-question I would have acted out, "Huh? There's this cigarette stick, let me use my light and have a whiff before I get back to the Bible studies." That is, every now and then, battling restlessly, back and forth between the carnal and fleshy desires of the body against those of the Spirit–and vice versa–warring against my members and instruments. Even so, I finally stopped smoking after lighting up on and off for years. Eventually we are all studying to grasp His Word. Let's go on! Do you understand? Even though the flesh serves only the flesh as well as its ego you can repent from your heart (and not the flesh, for the only need it has is for it to be tamed instead to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit) as a born again saint of the beautiful gospel of the water and the Spirit. You should not be intimidated by these shortcomings. Certainly not!

I am a righteous servant of the Highest. No no no, I do not turn my back from His calling into nuisance, emptiness and void of this world. Hebrews 10:39 states, "But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul." It is not a tragedy that we who died in sin now are alive and enter the everlasting Kingdom that God has prepared for us. Even so, come soon Lord. We are in darkness, for we are darkness. Just as the moon cannot give light up to the earth without receiving sunlight, we are darkness without Jesus' righteous acts of His baptism and shedding of all His blood on the Cross in our place. You must have been ashamed without Jesus Christ because you haven't revered to and doesn't like to have anything to do with God yet. May His divine providence take us along.
