The baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3:13-17 is what moved all our sins onto the lamb of God.
Isaiah 53:6, "All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
Jesus bore our sins onto His own body in accordance to the 'laying on of hands' performed throughout the sacrifical system of the Old Testament (Leviticus 16:21, 1-6)
If Jesus did not receive His baptism, then we would all remain in our sins and still be destined for hell inherently. (Romans 6:23)
It was after Jesus shouldered the sins of the world by being baptized that He shed His precious blood on the Cross and rose from the dead again, thus bearing the condemnation of all your sins in your place. (John 19:30)
So you can reach your salvation only if you believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, that Christ has saved you in this way.
You must remember that if you don’t cherish your own soul, and you don’t realize what a precious jewel of life Jesus Christ’s gospel of the water and the Spirit is, then you would be willingly embarking on the way of destruction. www.bjnewlife.org
