Our Lord said to us, “You have lived and will live in this world committing such and such sins. Bring all the sins that you have committed and will commit in this world to me. I will write them off.” Our Lord received the baptism in this world, received the judgment on the Cross, and was resurrected on the third day after dying on the Cross. God wrote off all the sins of the people through His Son Jesus Christ. Therefore, a person who believes in this gospel has his sins written off and a person who does not believe this still remains a sinner. God wrote off the sins of all people of the world through His Son.
