The original gospel of salvation that Jesus Christ brought to us is the gospel of the water and the Spirit. This is the very gospel that the Apostles and the Early Church Christians believed in and preached. You should realize that there cannot be true salvation without the gospel of the water and Holy Spirit. If you think that you have been saved, even though you do not actually know and believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, I want you to know now that such salvation is simply imaginary salvation which has been fulfilled only in your own thought. For us to receive the remission of sins and enter the Kingdom of God we must surely be first born again of the water and the Holy Spirit. When Nicodemus a Jewish ruler came to Jesus by night, Jesus taught him how one can be truly born again to enter the Kingdom of God. He said, "Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God"" (John 3:5). You must not hold what you have learnt till now too strongly, you have to open your Bible and confirm that what you now hold onto is actually the true Word of God and has actually taken care of your lifelong sins.
