The Kingdom of Heaven is referred to as a mystery (Matthew 13:11).
For someone who does not know the gospel of the water and the Spirit and is sinner, not yet born again, when they look at the Old and New Testament, everything appears just to be the Law.
False shepherds give sermons based on their own thoughts, saying, “Jesus has removed our past sins through the blood on the Cross alone. And so, we are saved but still sinners so we must repent of our sins daily in perpetuity, and in this manner we will achieve sanctification one day.”
But what do the truly born-again shepherds do? They tell their congregations clearly,
“You are all inherent sinners! You were born with sinful hearts and this is the reason why you cannot keep Gods Holy Laws despite your desire too, you are therefore destined to hell for the wages of sin. You cannot free yourselves from sin by your deeds, you need to be freed completely once and for all by faith in Gods righteousness” (Matt 3:15)
The true shepherds then proclaim the mystery that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist to take onto Himself all their sins and that His blood payed the price for those sins thus redeeming those who believe. These righteous servants roll away the stone of the Law to those who are bound by it and proclaim the righteousness of Jesus Christ which is positioned behind the Law and they allow people to drink from the well of living water.
