Will it REALLY be a "Happy New Year" for you?
Oh, the traditions of man! Everyone's counting down the hours and minutes to midnight, the New Year. But realistically, what exactly will be "new" about it for the majority of people?
(Ecclesiastes 1:9)
That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.
To be more specific, what will be "new" for sinners who "don't believe in God", and the so-called "Christian sinners"; those who "believe" in God yet still have sin?? The short answer is ... nothing! Both are still heading straight to hell because God's Word of Truth is not new, it remains the same; "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23)
Yet, by the very grace of God, you still have time to have a truly "New Year" and life; a life of being God's own sinless child by being born again of water and the Spirit!
(John 3:5)
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Yes, this is actually possible. Impossible by your own effort or will, but wholly possible with God.
