If you just keep your mind open, listen intently to the Word of God revealed in the gospel of the water and the Spirit and accept the righteousness of the Lord into your heart, then you will be able receive the true remission of sins. You will be saved from all the sins you commit in your thoughts and deeds, become a righteous person, and enter the Kingdom of Heaven (John 3:5)

God loved this world, and each and every one of us, so much that He sent His Son to such depraved sinners like us who were all destined for hell, and He passed all our sins to this Son through His water baptism from John the Baptist. By sacrificing His precious Son after taking up all our sin, and raising Him from the dead, God has saved us from all sins despite our insufficiencies. 

Do you believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit? You and I alike, and everyone else as well, are all inadequate before God. It’s not the wise and the virtuous capable of practicing righteousness whom God has saved, but it is the insufficient sinners whom God has delivered from sin.
