Before God, we must believe that the word of the baptism of Jesus and the word of the blood He shed on the cross constitutes our salvation as written in the Word of God, "This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ" (1John 5:6) We must believe that Jesus shouldered the sins of this world once and for all by being baptized by John according to the pattern shown in the sacrificial system (Leviticus 16:21), was condemned for our sins by being crucified and rose the third day. However, those who learn theological doctrines, philosophy and who believe in their own thoughts more than the Word of God, think that Jesus took away only part of the worlds sins, not accepting at face value, when the Bible says, "Behold! The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" If you are now relying on your own thoughts and do not believe that Jesus took away the sins of this world through the baptism, He received from John the Baptist, then you will forever remain unable to pass your sins to the body of Jesus. And if this is the case, then you cannot escape from the thought and truth that the condemnation of your sins awaits you (Romans 6:23). Therefore, it is absolutely imperative for us all to have faith that Jesus has saved us through the baptism He received from John to receive our sins and His blood on the cross whereby He atoned all our sins once and for all. This is why it is written "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in His name."
