SAVED ONCE AND FOR ALL FROM SIN

* "What is your understanding of the baptism of Jesus and His death on the Cross?"

I thank God so much. The Bible clearly tells us of the path toward salvation namely the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist, His death on the Cross and His resurrection. The witness and forerunner of the gospel of becoming a born again of water and the Spirit entails belief in water, the blood and the Spirit to kindle the path to eternal salvation and the fellowship with God. So the Lord solemnly fulfilled the acts of the past whereby Aaron the High Priest would cast lots for two goats: One lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat to be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man. This was how God took care of the sins of the Israelites, for the redemption of their sins and on behalf of all the people of Israel in the Old Testament through Aaron, the first High Priest on earth, on the Day of Atonement, a shadow of Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan River in the New Testament.

At the Jordan River about two millennia ago through the two hands of John the Baptist the One who took away all our sins, yours and mine, for good and in its entirety was Jesus Christ the accomplisher of our salvation. He took away our past, present, and future sins all at once through His baptism by John the Baptist in the River Jordan. It is as it is written in Romans 3:25, "[Christ Jesus] whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed" where the `previously committed sins` here refer to our sins committed in the past, our present sins, plus those sins that we would commit in the future. And Christ Jesus atoned for all these sins through His righteous act of His baptism by John the Baptist as well as His shed blood on the Cross. I give all the thanks to our Lord Jesus.

* "Are you with sin or without sin now and why?"

In the flesh I sin day after day in my life. The Bible says the Lord Jesus through His baptism by the hands of John the Baptist over to His death on the Cross washed and cleansed me. He took away all my sins (those of the past, the present sins plus those I am to commit) as a result He made my heart sinless.

* "How can you solve away the problem of your daily and future sins?"

I ultimately sin on a daily basis from trespasses and iniquities borne out of the desires of the flesh. The Bible tells us of sundry kinds of evil: wickedness, evil eye, pride, foolishness, murders, etc. It is said that these sins come from within, out of the heart of man. However, the Lord Jesus Christ atoned for all of my sins by His baptism, His death on the Cross and resurrection. Not to say the least, but I need to look with faith onto His Word and the atonement of my sins through Jesus` baptism, death, and resurrection.

* "Did you have sins before believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit? If you did, what was the reason why you had sin in your heart even though you believed in Jesus Christ?"

I had sins laden in my heart prior to believing in this true gospel of the water and the Spirit because of how I misconstrued my Savior Jesus to be, snared along the lines of philosophies and man`s theories from his figment of imagination, which disappearing like the mist it leaves in no time as the morning dew.

I was actually a spiritually blind Pharisee battling on and off with my original and actual sins. At one point in time in the past, I nailed asterisks to the sins which I committed the most judged upon the witness of my conscience and stuck it overleaf a calendar. Facing off on almost all of these calendars as a teenager and into my early twenties were events and people whereas behind it was expressed in groups in multiples of five the grim realities and filth I entertained as an adolescent of which I spent much ink showing off my math proxy of naming all I ever could remember according to my understanding of what the sin was. I lived such a life with an asceticism synonymous to the late great Korean Buddhist monk Seongcheol Lee, but without meditating in front of a wall for 10 years, and sought for penance through devotion, as in my own case I was surely tied down to a particular religion of my own making, compared to Martin Luther, the pioneer of the Reformation 500 years ago very much unintended during the sixteenth century, who will climb up and down on the stairs with his knees. But all of this was as a result of the fact that I was oblivious of the words great grace and a new change as used in the Bible by the respective numbers five and fourteen. Fourteen in the Bible means change. And five in the Bible means the grace of God.

* "Please explain how your faith now is different from the faith you had before hearing the gospel of the water and the Spirit preached by the New Life Mission."

More than a decade today I was born again. Previously, though, imprisoned with the affairs of food, shelter and clothing I went on to forfeiting my education at university in lieu of an overseas trip with meager means amid grinding poverty. I learned congruently of The New Life Mission School and that you carry on with the discipleship training programs with the following ministries: Evangelistic ministry and Bible studies for foreign co-workers of The New Life Mission—done with all my heart`s desire ever since I became born again of the beautiful gospel of the water and the Spirit—through Rev. Paul C. Jong`s available print, ePub and PDF format free Christian book series as well as dual-language electronic books and audiobooks and I received the heavenly blessings of being born again of water and the Spirit!
