The history of Christianity is full of confusion and emptiness.

The history of Christianity is full of confusion and emptiness. It is the same with theological thoughts and with religious doctrines. As a result, the hearts of those who believe in Jesus are all the same; they are confused, empty and their is sin deep in their hearts, so they are seeking the Savior.

Many people believe in Jesus as their Savior and are still confused after many years. Theologians say, "By believing in Jesus, you have been saved, you are being saved and you will be saved." This kind of faith and religious belief is the current state of Christians today because they believe in confusing creeds.

They believe that the sins they have inherented are forgiven when they believe in Jesus and receive baptism. And that all their future sins are resolved by believing in the seven sacraments prescribed by their church including the doctrine of repentance prayers, gradual Sanctification and penance.

But is it possible to wash away our sins with repentance prayers? No. The process of Sanctification cannot depend on our own works and the passage of time. If you believe like this, then it is all an illusion and faith that comes from your own thoughts and man-made doctrines.

What you absolutely need to know and believe is the fact that the Savior Jesus took upon the sins of mankind once and for all by being baptized by John the Baptist in accordance to the pattern shown in the Old Testament sacrificial system (Leviticus 16:21=Matthew 3:15)
His death on the Cross was to atone for our sins that He had borne at His baptism.
This is why the Apostle John writes that Jesus `came by water, blood and the Spirit...and these three agree as one`

(1 John 5:6-8).
